Privileged

Some friends had come down from London for a visit and I was reminded about how privileged capetonians all are. Listening to the talk about commuting for 4 hours a day, constant rain, the floods, not so friendly people!! Really? Are there mean people out there? I am blessed that I am surrounded by wonderful people.

In Cape Town we live, yes ofcourse we work…we work plenty, but we live! We get to the beach every now and then (some more than others!), we share wine and sumptuous feasts. For most, the busiest part of their day is the rush to watch the sunset at the end of the day over breezy cocktails. We admire our mountain, and revel in the beauty we are surrounded by.

Capetonians are indeed a most privileged bunch, and we know it!

So I (a privileged one) share with all my friends in colder climates some of my pics of a peaceful fishing village I had the privilege of visiting this past weekend. (its not the usual Clifton Prada Gucci wearing crowd, but it was a beautiful taste of the reality that lay outside our production world!)

So be inspired to come and take some of your own sunny pics and come and visit us soon.
